Hi there!
Glad I found you. Have one of our females in the whelping area so can't call just now. I'll work on this note while I go back and forth in tending to her. =)
Our boy is 'PR' Tom's Hard Knockin Famous Amos. He's your boy's full brother.
Amos was born 3/15/95. Are our boys littermates or just a result of a repeat breeding?
Amos is a beautiful boy who is all heart. He is such a strong hunter with the most wonderful voice. He would be so awesome in the nite hunts except he is now 8 years old and becoming harder at the tree with age. He was strictly pleasure hunted by his previous owner (Tom Hertz - bless him a million times for placing Amos with us!) so had no exposure to bench or comp. hunts. I always wondered when looking at/hunting him how it could have been if he had. He's an amazing dog. So I'm retaining a son of his that is due to arrive into this big bad world the 19th. This is why I was so excited when Tracey Spillane shared that she found the article on your boy in the magazine and noticed they were brothers.
We had Amos OFA hip tested just before breeding for my future wonder pup. He rated GOOD. Maybe this will be something you'd like for your boy's record.
Go to www.ironwoodredbones.com to see our hounds if you like.
Do you have a website?
Thanks for writing back! Back to the whelping pen I go. Gotta be a little pup hiding in there for the future nite hunts/conformation for our 15 year old to train up.
