What do u think of this pair?

Nice day out today so I got the pups out to let them play. They are out of Trackman and Buckhorn Mtn. Nightime Savage. They sure got a lot to learn but we are all always hopeful when we have young pups. What percentage of pups actually make nice hounds. So much depends of training, breaks, and of course breeding.

Great pups. I like the looks of Trackman pups. You asked a good question and I have no idea how many pups make nice hounds. My personal opinion is that virtually all well bred pups will more or less make coondogs. Whether they would suit you or me is a different matter. I tend to think that the ones that are absolutely worthless are the fault of their handler/trainer. JMO.

Hey Rick,
I agree, most well bred pups will run and tree a coon, but that is not what most people want now adays. We all want a dog that will go out and be competitive week after week.

Happy Hunting

Thanks for the compliments on my pups. It took several yrs. to get pups from my Gr. Nite and now that I've got them I don't know what to do with them. Except take pictures.
