ive been feeding black gold since they 1st started and lately ive noticed the quality of it seems pretty bad.one bag will be good lookin and another bag will have alot of fines in it.also noticed some bags my dogs will get real loose stools and other bags the stools will be like they should.talked to several guys around here having same problem.and before anyone asks i keep my dogs on a good worming program. so is anyone else seeing this in black gold ?.

No, mine has been pretty cosistent. The cost, on the other hand, is another issue entirely. It's different every time I go.

I've only been feeding it for a little over two months now and I haven't had any problems with it. I have to drive an hour and a half both ways to get mine so when I went I bought fifteen bags so maybe thats why they have all been good bags, they were all packed together. I will be going back in a couple of weeks to get another load so hopefully I want have any problems with it. I have an uncle in Michigan that feeds it and he hasn't said anything about his but I'll ask and see. I'll let you know if he is having any problems.

corn prices go up and dog food prices go up...they aren't the only ones getting more expensive.

gold is right! I have fed black gold. I am not saying that it is not good feed but I have just as good results out of feed that cost alot less. I have heard people say that you do not have to feed as much with black gold. Bull, my dogs would have wasted away on that program. I feed mostly foxhounds and they need food and lots of it when they are running all the time.

The store i buy mine at is gonna quit saling it because of the price.He said hes lost over half his customers over the prices.Hes gonna start saling sexton brothers dog food.I dont like the thought of switching dog foods but the price is going up about every 3 months.Good dog food but to expensive.

black gold is high, but my dogs do very well on it, they stay on full feed. And I do think they eat less, when they are left on full feed.

Lots of people here are swapping to diamond high energy. Pretty much the same stuff. Diamond 15 dollars a bag.Blackgold 19 dollars a bag.. I might swap myself if blackgold goes up again.

I am paying $23.00 a bag (.46 a pound) for black gold or $20.00 a bag (.40 a pound) for Diamond Hi Energy. I think the extra 6 cents a pound is worth it. And I get stools outa my dogs with Black Gold not mush like I do with Diamond Hi Energy

black gold 21.00 + tax if i buy ten bags plus two and a half hour drive to get it. i switched to pride 27/18 19.00 a bag if i buy 5 bags. a mile from the house they seem to be doing good with it thanks ron

I dont understand why the price is so high either I sell black gold,sports mix, and high standard and the price of black gold I am paying is what It was selling it for a year ago there is $5.00 between it and the other two high standard and sports mix run neck and neck on price. they are priceing them selfs out of the market

It has jumped alot here also and I am now feeding something else.Just about all the feed companies have feed youll be happy with if you select the right one.I myself feel we get carried away worrying about some of this feed it wasnt too many years ago we didnt have many good feed choices and our dogs did fine.How many GrNts do you think were fed Dads or something similiar.

What gets me is the price difference!!!!! Like here its 19 for the black bag and its 5 dollars more a bag in other places... Whats up with that?? I wonder how much a bag would be directly from the factory...

I am pretty sure it has to do with that $3.40 a gallon diesel fuel. I would also like to know what it would be if I got a pallet direct from the factory. I like road trips LOL I wouldent mind becoming a Pzazz dealer if it was comprable to Black Gold the closest Pzazz dealer is like almost 500 miles away.

All the companies havent been raisng theres here as much as Black gold the dealers aroung here are getting frustrated with the price they say every shipment is different.

I have been buying Black gold for the last 4 or 5 months and its been the same price. but I can get it for $21 a bag if I buy it by the pallet, so if one place buys more than another they might pass their savings down to their customers. idk

When I was feeding Diamond, I went in to buy another $2O bag, the price was down to $17.50 a bag. I asked a guy at the store what was going on, he said that the company bought acouple more semi trailers full than they normaly did and got it at a better price and passed it down to us the customer. That was the last time, when I went the next time it was back up to $20 a bag. It was still at $20 a bag when I switched to Black Gold.
