I'm not suprised at people being mean, selfish, wanting to win no matter what etc...that's why everyone on a nite cast should be people of integrity, know the rules, be respectful and lead by example.
The general idea is to be competitive by following the rules. If for some reason an idividual doesn't agree with a decision on the cast..question the card and go before moh.All kc's hunts can be and are a lot of fun for the most-part. It's not ukc, pkc, akc's fault some nite cast are a bad experience. I understand there are bad cast....always will be, because as was said earlier, there are people in this world who are pitifully pathetic who want to win at all cost. The cleanup of these things begin at the clubhouse with the officers being people of mental compitence to do their very best to assure that decision making people such as judges, guides, moh and EVERYTHING else to do with the competition hunts the particular club host is the very best it can be.
If you're not having fun in the nite hunts? I'd first take a look at myself. Secondly I would look at the club I'm hunting.
That is a great post! On another note, I don't think it's fair to those of you who are being sincere with your responses, and some good ones I might add, to be blinded to a degree by the person you are reponding to.
George, these guys are responding to your post thinking blackdogs13 is being totaly truthful in everything he says. You and I both know that your first post has "sheepskin" written all over it. Shame on you George. Lets be honest. You are your hunting buddy. Or are you?
Obviously, this thread transpired due to a situation that happened. In a sneaky way you are trying to stir the pot again. I think we all agree a certain rule needs to be addressed and changed. I feel bad that you fell victim to this rule but hasn't it really went far enough? How about we work towards changing it instead of wasting our energy like this. You're a good guy George and I think the sport needs ya. There are good ways and bad ways to handle situations. I guess it is up to each individual how we deal with those. I wish you a safe and Happy Holiday Season. Take Care.
Sorry for intervening. Just think it is a shame when someone isn't being exactly truthful.
Sincerely,
Allen Gingerich
For everone's sake, I think it best we just close this thread and move on to other things like spending the Holidays with our families. Merry Christmas everyone!
