this happen to me!!

this past weekend i took my deer hounds out to run.. when i caught them after about a 30 minute race two of my pups were not there.. i pulled my tracker out and NOTHING... i drove and drove but NOTHING.. i had tested all of my collars that morning and knew they were working.. i drove over fifty miles in circles trying to get a beep and NOTHING... I WAS ONE MAD PERSON!! my wife linked me late that evening and told me to listen to a message on the answering machine... the message went something like this.. hello, i am from PAWS of ________ (the name of the town) and i just wanted to let you know someone brought two of your dogs to us today.. they were both wearing tracking devices so I refused to except them.. I explained to the person that picking up a dog with a tracking device in FLwas a felony and advised them to return the dogs to the place where they picked them up.. she did not leave her name and when i called the next day the person that answered said she had no idea what i was talking about.. when i returned to the woods the next morning i found dog tracks all over the road, got a reading on my pups and found them about 1/2 mile from where i had turned them loose.. someone had dropped them back during the night.. sometimes things do work out right...

That is strange... glad you got your dogs back, though... I would have been more worried about the collars myself, LOL

you can always replace a collar but not a good dog. when you lose a dog you cant replace it, trust me i know i had the best coondog i ever owned run over last year, and i never bred her so her blood stopped with her. she gave me the four best coon seasons ive ever had.
