my female has been hunting great for the first 2 weeks of kill season but now she is not wanting to get out there and hunt she hunts out 5 minutes or so and then comes back then she will leave for good and get treed but she seems to be babbling then or just being stupid and she has not done any of this untill the last coulpe of nights she can and does tree coon but i have a feeling that something is not right she is young 18 months old but was hunting like a 3 year old dog the first two weeks of season

took her last night with a young plott dog that trees coon and before she new it he was gone and she did her 5 minute thing again then he opened up and she took off to him barking till she got where he was and then they treed the coon

can somebody explain to me what is going on with her

Maby you have been hunting her to hard the past two weeks.
I would lay her up for a week or so, and see if this helps.
If she has not been hunted much before season came in she could be a little soft.

ALSO, IF SHE'S DUE TO COME IN HEAT SOON, IT SEEMS LIKE OUR FEMALES ACT A LITTLE STUPID A COUPLE OF WEEKS BEFORE THEY COME IN HEAT.

KIND OF LIKE AN EARLY WARNING SYSTEM I GUESS!

IF YOUR FEMALES DUE IN, THAT COULD BE WHAT'S GOING ON WITH HER.
