Looks like a good hunt Loyd. How many coon were taken total? Was everyone there hunting cur dogs?

Now that's the way a coon hunt should end up! That had to be loads of fun.

Well wednesday night would have worked out best for me but Loyd didn't invite me. I drove by on the way to my mom and dads house and saw your trucks out by the fence there. But what with all the security clearances and stuff it's not like you just pull up to the guard tower and say hey, whas up. lol

military part

Were you guys able to hunt in the "military part" of Fort Custer? I thought from your post you were in the Recreation area? How was the hunting? Nice coon. I've thought about hunting it, but I-94 on the backside always scared me with my hounds.
Now, slipping into the campground in the late fall/winter I am sure could rack you alot of coon, just don't get caught hunting in there, but this is Michigan. With our governor, we have no money for DNR Officers, so not much chance. lol
Nice pics guys. Maybe see you at a squirrel hunt soon. Looking for a fiest dog maybe.

WOW

Thats fantastic - an environmentalist that actually recognizes the good effects hunting has on an ecosystem. And the military cooperates on top of it! I'm jealous.
