How come the good ones are the ones taken?

Talked to Mr. Prey last evening about getting OL"BARNEY back because my job was slowing down enough, and he was starting to work on some new young dogs. He was on his way to the woods to go hunting as we were talking on the phone.

Anyway, to make a long story short, he called my cell this morning and left a voice mail to call him. After my morning meeting at work I called him.

A tear ran down my face as Willard explained what happened and that Barney was gone.

He will never be replaced in my families hearts, and the memory keeps running thru my mind of his first tree as Mr. Plumb and and i was hunting and the exitment i had as I told Gary "Tree Barney".

You will be missed old friend.

It is always tough to see one lost. He CANNOT be replaced in your hearts because he still resides there and always will! He took a piece of all of you with him as he left. He will never be lonely or old or sick... he is under the big old tree looking up at Mr Coon. I Believe you will see him someday Long from now. He'll be waiting happily for his masters coming.

Hey Todd,

Im sorry to hear that happend and how it all came about ... I hope that you will still go forward and continue in the sport as you was .......Word's I know will never replace your dog but I hope that you will never give up on the COONHOUND WORLD !
