Purina Pro Plan when they are hunting.. I also like the Kirkland Brand dog food.. Hate the price.. At least you can join the Pro Club with Purina...

If I could get Ultra Advantage Dog food out here.. I would probably switch....

Kirkland from costco and chicken backs. Sometimes I can score the chicken for 15c a lb. I also use deer cuttings and raw bones when I can get my hands on it i'll fill my freezer.

Diamond Naturals Chicken & Rice or Extream Athlete.
I feed Science Diet as well on occasion.

I don't mind the Exceed from Sam's Club either (except the price)

High-Standard makes a great feed for the hard going hound that you can feed less of and get more out of. The purple bag I think is 26-18 works great on the every night coonhound I guess it would work on the Big Game hound also. $ 17.00-$18.00 50 POUND

Food

During the months Im not hunting too much (summer) I feed purina dog chow. When they start to get to hunting a lot I switch to purina hi pro 27%protein 15% fat. Plus that pro club thing is awesome, Im invested enough now to start seeing some good rewards.

You can't go wrong with the Purina Pro Plan, we feed the Purina One, its almost identical but a couple bucks cheaper, and the Pro club really helps out when you get 6 bags at a time

hi pro

I can still get hi pro at petsmart over here in NM. But maybe were just the last to start seeing it disappear? I hope not, it kept the weight on my dogs much better but the puppy chow is pretty close. Also, since eggs are cheap, I usually feed em a raw egg every day or every other day. And on the pro plan, I end up with about 9000 points a year if they gives you a better idea.
