FOR ALL CATEGORIES OF THE HUT---ANY OFF GAME WHETHER IT'S RAN, TREED, BROUGHT BACK TO YOU (UNLESS I'VE OBVIOUSLY BEEN DEAD FOR A WHILE) OR BOOGER BARKED AT---SCRATCH

OBVIOUS SLICK TREE---MINUS ON FIRST OFFENSE, SCRATCH ON 2ND (ANY DOG CAN MESS UP, AND THIS WILL GIVE THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT TO THE DOG FOR SLICK TREE #1)


IN MY OPINION THIS WILL PRODUCE A BETTER QUAITY NTCH OR GRNTCH.

BECAUSE THOSE THAT HAVE SLICK TREEING IDIOTS WILL GET TIRED OF PAYING $15-$30 ENTRY FEES JUST TO GET SCRATCHED.

In my opinion, there should only be plus points and minus points. No circle points. This would help with limiting the slick treeing idiots that are in some of the hunts.

I believe if my dog can draw minus for treeing off game and still have more points than a dog that did not, my dog should win the cast.

What needs changed in ukc is if at anytime during a hunt dogs bark up at a possum it needs sent home. Titled dogs and none titled dogs... Should not be any loopholes in the rules to save a possum treeing dog..

I think if a dog trees a possum he should be minused. All dogs make mistakes. If he is enough dog to come back and tree several coons and still win the cast then he has proven himself in my book although none of mine will, I think a dog ought to be able to redeem himself. Dont we make mistakes? That like saying if a golfer takes a bad swing and hits a ball in the lake he is out of the tournament. No on the next hole he comes bake and par a hole and and he is right back in the game. Sure he has played for years and should have been better than to hit it in the lake but people make mistakes just like dogs. If a dog trees a possum first drop on a registered cast and comes back and trees the only two coons seen is he not the best dog of the hours??? What is the diference in a NITE CHAMPION??? Sometimes the only differnce in a registered dog and a NITE CH is one weekend!!!!! Minus him and if he is good enough he will come back and win. If anything reduce the amount of minus a NIte ch can get before he is minused out.... to 300 or 250 or 225 that way he is allowed to screw up because everybody knows they and we all do, but he wont be able to screw up too much. Here is what I think.If you dont like the way a rule is in a certain kennel club dont hunt in it.All I see on this site is either UKC is better or PKC is better .SO WHAT!!!!! I hunt both and enjoy both......I personally think a Dog should only be minused for off game....I can think of other important things a dog should be scratched for.....Like ( Failure to hunt , Babbling , Fighting)It just gets old the downgrading of PKC on this site.We all are in the same sport and we need to learn to work together instead of working against each other.....................If people want to hunt Trashy Hounds let em ....shouldnt that make it easier for the rest of us to win?
