Tri Tronics 70 G2 Exp

Has Tri Tronics worked the bugs out of the G2 units? I have read several old post on here, that claim the units did not work properly at first. I was thinking about buying one about a year ago, but I decided to hold off..... I am thinking really hard about buying the G2 70 clasic exp. Any words of advice?

Thanks,
Scott

tri-tronics

I was told the bugs have been worked out .

I might be wrong but I think most of the problem was with the trashbreaker in one of the early runs right after testing and the production started.
I was told that they had gotten a bad batch of circuit boards.
When the problem came to light they stopped production and retested some of the boards and found the problem. The boards were taken off the line and new boards recieved and tested. Problem solved ! This is what Mark Zepp (field rep ) told me last year

I have one of the new trashbreaker g2 exps and although I haven't used it alot I like it.

I hear the sport dog units are good also but Tri-Tronics has been in the business a long time and provided good products for the gun dog owner and hound hunter so I stayed with them .
