They are here

More than most realize. About every three years we see one here in Northern Kentucky. I saw one tracking a deer while deer hunting a few years back in Owen County.

Cool.

Nice Pix...

... I'm scared to death of bears... dumb fear, I grew up in the city... I usually find them ugly but these are nice pix and they are "pretty"... I'll admit it. As long as they stay away from me... fine! LOL.. so far our area of MA hasn't had them. If I don't see one cool.... if I do I'll just never go out at night... ever!
Thanks for sharing the pix, I really love to see all the wildlife we do still have left in our country. Our area is getting more and more built up. More of the suburbs and the city areas are having wildlife problems. My favorite "problem" has to be the people who move out here to the "country"LMBO... and then they complain about the yotes or the TURKEYS! Duh! We have a new development coming in behind us and I KNOW some city person will not like my roosters...It'll break my heart when they have to go... someone moving out the the "country" wont like the country sounds... Wonder how they'll like the yotes???? LOL.... Good thing my hounds are house dogs and I wont lose them.
Sorry to rant... I'm just getting SO sick of my area. I Loved it when I moved here in 1985 but it's the "place to be" now and it has lost it's appeal to us. Once the kids are old enough to leave the nest...I see moving and I never thought I would! Only problem is... if we move to the real country..there might be bears! LOL... My friends are actually in the KY hills as I type looking for a place to move to. I will miss them...but WE WILL VISIT! Hope they find a piece of Heaven out there.
Enjoy that nature everyone! HappyHunting, Heather

Where did you take that Picture at Boo Boo ? Those thangs are getting thick around hear. I went to Farm and Country a few years back to get some Deer Jam to put on Corn for Coons. They had some Berry powder Cheap for Attracting Bears, I thought well it will work for Coons also. I think that stuff done drawed them in here.
