Hunting around Cherokee North Carolina

I was going on vacation next week their, and was wandering if their are any wma's in that area that you can coon hunt right now?

christy on here.she could really fill you in. between pisgah and nantahala national forests you will not have to drive far.we do not have a closed chase season in n.c. don't get caught with a gun,especially on the reservation.hope you like it steep.good luck and good hunting.

NOT TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE THERE IS NOT. ALL U.S. OWNED LAND IS CLOSED DOWN UNTIL AUGUST 15.

YOU CAN RUN DOGS ALL YEAR ROUND ON PRIVATE LAND THOUGH.

WE LIVE IN SYLVA, ABOUT 10 MINUTES FROM CHEROKEE.
