single registering

I have lost my papers on my treeing walker dog. i never registered the dog in my name , how do i go about gettinh paper on this dog, i am from nashville,tn. is there anyone in this area that can help me out.

If the registered owner and the current owner are not the same, than the current owner needs to ask the registered owner to request the duplicate and when the registered owner receives it, it can be signed over to the current owner.
