Bluetick Breeding question?

We would like to get one litter of pups out of Gypsy before she's too old. She's eight years old now, so figure this will be her last litter. Who do you think would be the best choice for a stud? I'm in no hurry to make my final decision. All her other puppies have made dogs. She is a really nice dog. She has a wonderful voice. She will tree her own coon. She will go as far as she needs to and have the meat. I have used her as a pup trainer.

This would be a good choice

Or you could go with Terry Daltons, Max Hound. Both are well balanced hounds from what I have seen.

Runnin Gun owned by James McClary of Lucasville Ohio, He is a Grand NT. CH. that comes from a long line of reproducing dogs. This should cross well on your female because he is out of Tony Foley's Vining Running Bullet.

I would talk to Craig Edwards about breeding, with the pedigree you posted, you could throw a lot of Smokey River Cheif blood in the pups.

Thanks everyone for the good advice. We are going to really think this thing through. It will probably be her last litter, so will be our last shot at getting something really special off her. Amy
