I'm wondering too. I'd like to have mine chrome dipped..that would look cool!

Lowes carries a diamond plate paste that's supposed to bring back the shine. I dont have the energy to try it. I'd do it if someone on here found that it worked good. I can just picture putting in a few hours to make it all new looking, then a week later it would be back to looking all old and dull lol.

I HAVE USED THE ALUMINUM POLISHES AND OXIDATION REMOVAL PRODUCTS AND THEY DO WORK. I THINK TO KEEP IT NICE YOU NEED TO WAX IT GOOD OR POLISH AFTER YOU GET IT CLEAN AND ALSO DONT LET IT GET THAT BAD NEXT TIME.

Use the Mothers polish with the new Mothers powerball, it is a polishing ball that works in a drill, does a great job and cuts way down on time.

Shine

Take it to a place that washes Semi's and Trailers, they have the acid to use on it, costs about $10-$15...well worth it and they do the work !!

Satin Metal Polish is the best for cleaning and polishing a dog box.

You will be happy with this polish, easy to put on and take off.
