ez feeder

5 gal bucket half buried in ground (so they can't turn it over) filled with corn. Add water flavored with sweetened grape koolaid. It won't last long though.

ezfeeder

another mix is corn mixed with fish meal 3 /4ths ful the rest with water, the only problem possums do love the meal. or use (like you said) grape or strawberry kool aid

Nevr had a problem with deer around any of my feeders . the ony problem is squirrelsand possums

Not if you keep the water over the corn. Coon love it. I used this a long time ago. Getting ready to do it again. That corn will sour up in the summer and coon smell it 9 miles away lo. I think Ive seen a possum maybe two but 95% of the time its all coon.
