bruce, we had a hatch of owls in our back yard last summer. i saw 4 on night and three once and two twice. on about july 3rd one was in my back yard catching ciccadas for almost 15 minutes. hte next night my girlfriend was over. she hardly believed it so we sat quietly at dusk. saw three that night.one came down and drank from the dog bowl! i will be making a point to sit quietly at dusk around july 3-7 again this year in hopes of a repeat.
Truly, I'm having a hard time believing your post. Not about the owls, about you sitting quietly. Ha. ha.
