T.J.s Stylish Lipper

I was wondering has anyone hunted with this lipper dog. i have an older lipper female. and i am pleased with her ability. how does this dog hunt? i heard that lipper was straight line hunter. but my female checks in after about 30min. she also drifts the track in a zig zag. if i like the responses i get i would maybe like a pup out of him and a hickory nut harry female. in the future . any help would be appreciated. im pretty new to this and havent nailed down what crosses are good but i think the harry female x stylish lipper would produce some good results. thanks for your time.

Someone that gets on here raised and started him but I cant remember who it was, but there is an old thread about him. I never hunted with him but did see him in person and his pictures dont do him justice, he is a looker.

He is a very good Looker, He is Owned by Jim Farmer, and Tim Osborne(who co-owns him i do belive). He is a local hound around here, never been able to hunt with him.... but have heard good things about him. Jim Farmer Lives in Orwell, Ohio (bout 20 minutes from our place)

lipper

i really like this dogs breeding i recently had a male out of nailer, but all he ever did was backtrack. So my next pup i would prefer to not have any nailer in it. im not here to put nailer down i know he must have been a good reproducer just look at his stats. i will probably end up with another nailer bred dog before im finished. i just had a bad experience and want to try a different line of dogs. i know some people say that lipper was overrated but i would like to find out what i could do with a hound that has his blood. thanks again for any replies and information

TJ's Stylish Lipper is an awsome tree dog and has looks to boot. I have owned a few "Lipper pups" from Jim's GRNT Rose female. There has been 2 crosses so far with Rose and they are fast starting, independant tree dogs with loud mouths. Here are a few pics of the 2nd cross.

The 1st cross I know for a fact 1 pup made nite champion at 15 mo old, and 1 other was killed in a hunting accident made grand show champion @14 mo. He seems to be producing nice dual purpose pups. Sandi

You won't

go wrong with dealing with Jimmy or Tim they are two great guys. Ole Lipper is for real and like someone else said the pics of him don't do this dog justice he is a good looking hound. JMO!!!
