Laingsburg Michigan ???

Did anyone show up for the hunt at Laingsburg? I'm sure somebody came for the show, but did anyone put a dog in the woods? Did they see a coon? Its 0 degrees with a -29 wind chill here in Gobles - I just hope my dogs can stand the weather in their houses, much less put them in the woods.

Chris,
I hunted Spike there. CACACACOLD!!!!. Two dogs in the hunt, one registered and one nite champion. Spike never treed a coon all night, go figure with the weather the way it is. Jim Wale hunted his nite champion dog Caleb, and tree one in a wood pile, they got to see it. I don't think that his hound really ran a track. Spike struck a track right off the bat, ran or should I say tried to run this track for about 45 minutes, never treed. after that he never really hunted much the rest of night. We'll see next weekend at Reading.

SNOW??????????

Got about 12 inches Saturday night - and with the wind- WOW. After a couple hours plowing and roof raking, had us all dug out. Another 6 inches or so by Sunday Evening - so out plowing again. Had to dig in front of the dog houses so they have a "tunnel" to get in and out of the houses.
Tony - your braver than I - no way was I gonna try to cut a dog in the cold Saturday night. You deserve a first place just for trying.

No

Besides the weather, my Ntch bitch "Redneck Girl" is coming in heat. Barely showing, but Little Joe is letting me know about it. lol
So, I'm out of business for now. Hopefully she is out before Bellevue's hunt, but we will have to see.
