JUST WANTED TO LET YA'LL KNOW THAT WE HAD TO PUT OUR OLD DOG JEWEL DOWN YESTERDAY.

SHE'D BEEN SICK FOR A MONTH OR SO, AND THE VET SAID SHE WAS FREE OF WORMS AND EVERYTHING. SHE'D GOTTEN TO WHERE SHE WOULDNT HARDLY COME OUT OF HER DOG HOUSE, AND SHE DIDNT EAT ON SUNDAY OR YESTERDAY. WE COULDNT BEAR TO SEE HER SUFFER.

SO QUINCY LAID HER TO REST.

SHE WAS A NICE OLD DOG, AND HAD A MOUTH THAT WOULD NOT QUIT!

WE SURE WILL MISS HEARING THAT BIG MOUTH OF HERS ECHO THROUGH THESE MOUNTAINS!!!!

RIP OLD GAL.

It is never easy. Somewhat worse when you have to make the choice, I think...rather than find an old one gone in their sleep. We are fortunate to be able to make that choice. I think it is the right choice for you to have made. Sigh. She had a good life with you and knew she was well loved. She's pain free and gone with some good ones that went before. She was a beauty on the tree! Feminine but athletic. I hope you have a pup or two or more to help her live on in the breed. Sorry to hear about your loss, I use to own her . I was the one who bred her to Seth, and Slugger before I sold her to Jake Garner. There was a gentleman came up to me at the Winter Classic this weekend and wanted to know where she was at, he has a male out of her and Seth that he said was the best dog he has ever owned. She has thrown some good pups !!!!!!!!
