track speed

When you all have hunted a fast track dog, do you notice that terrain makes a significant change in the dogs ability to work out a track?

Do dogs that can really move a track perform the same in swamps, cutovers, or in wide open terrain? Just curious as to your experience.

Depends on where or under what geographic conditions the hound learned it's trade.
