Performance Sire ????????

I have a few Questions on this:

If I enroll a Stud in this program now, can I register litters that is already born, maybe up to 5 months old??

Do I have to send a DNA Kit and pay the $49, if PKC already has one??

Does the females have to be DNA? and what if PKC already has there`s on file?

I haven`t really messed with this much yet and any info is appreciated.

Thanks,

I think as long as they were born this year you can with proper fees. If you already have a dna with pkc all you need to do is send a copy to ukc and the female does not have to be dna but if she is I would send a copy of it to ukc to so the pups could be dna-vip

I'm interested in hearing answers to these questions too, especially the one about litters already born. Can someone for UKC confirm what mrbluedog said and/or provide additional info?

Thanks!

If you were to enroll your sire now for 2006, ($300) all his offspring born in 2006 would be eligible. Even pups born back in January of '06. The sire has to be DNA'd. The dam does not. If you want to enroll a sire for '07 it would cost you $100 if you enroll before Jan 1, 2007. Between Jan 1 and July 1, it would cost $200. After July the fee goes up to $300.
