Had a fair hunt last night with my son and one of our hunting buddies. Made two trees and found the coon in one laying in a nest in a fork. The other tree was huge and hard to shine so we just circled it up and came on in.
Kate thought she had it cause I had to go back and get her off the tree twice which usually doesn't happen.

Is the hound with the tan head all white everywhere else? Looks like she may have a couple of ticks on her. I like her looks. Nice that you have a son that likes to hunt with you.

yes Hobo . thats her. She's by a grandson of Nailor and out of a Hardwood Henry female. Coming 3 this winter.

Nitechamp Bud, The female with all the white is my old gyp Nt Ch Hickory Hill Kate. She's 10 and 1/2 years old but still can get it done. She was limpin pretty good when we came in last night so I'll have to check on her this morning but I just can't leave her home. The old bitch has given my son and I a lot of good memories. And yes I am lucky. My youngest son would rather be in the woods then eat . He's 21 years old so I say it will stick with him.
We started to the first tree last night and I almost fell over him when he bent down to dig a root of sing we had passed . He is truly a woodsman.
