First time I've had the Mutts out in about 3 months.


I guess I'll just have to brag a lil bit about the hunt............



I took Boone and his son Ox. When I got to the farm and started to get the tracking collars for them I noticed that the magnets were out of both collars!! Not a good way to start a hunt. Grabbed the tracker and turned it on and one collar was still working... I put the shock collar on Ox(he's never messed with anything other than a coon yet! but he's also a year old and hasn't been out in three months.) I cut them loose at 9:29 pm they were both gone in a flash....After about 5 mins I heard Ox open a few times on track and then hit up!!! HMMMMMMMM I think to myself....Wonder if he's treed a possum? he trees a lil bit comes off the tree and then goeas back on it.... Finally Boone comes treed with him..... Ox stopped treeing before I got there but once I got to the tree he got going again.......... Walking into the tree I saw two coon sitting in their tree.

It was alot cooler tonight than its been all week but it still was plenty hot.

Seeing is believing. Bring them holsteins to my house in 2-3 weeks and we shall see how they do in these "thin" coons around here!

I've been reading the advisor some lately. This year when you & GhostHunter tell me there is a coon up the tree cause you can smell it.....i am actually gonna haft to SEE IT before I can plus that tree !! LOL

I'll be there.... Just not sure about Ghosthunter........ Just be sure your sinus' are working ok and you will be able to smell it yourself.....



I figured it was time I got the MUTTS out and tuned up a lil before I had to come out that way and hunt in those THIN coon ya'll have... Sure is gonna be ruff on em !!
