NHBA Nominating Criteria for HOF
The following is the criteria for nominating a person to the NHBA Hall of Fame as submitted by the HOF committee.
Qualifications for a dog to be nominated is the dog has to be at least six (6) years old, has to be at least a UKC Hunting Beagle Champion and has to have produced at least one (1) UKC Hunting Beagle Champion at the time of the nominations.
Any member in good standing, Charter, Gold, or Regular, can nominate a qualified dog; however, only Charter and Gold members in good standing are eligible to vote the dogs into the Hall of Fame. The number of dogs to be elected and the time of nominations and voting will be decided by the Executive Committee.
DECEASED MEMBER
Must have been a NHBA member in good standing for a minimum of 3 years.
BREEDER
1. Must be a paid NHBA member in good standing.
2. Must have been a breeder in UKC for a minimum of 10 years.
3. Must have been a breeder of record or sire owner on a minimum of 3 litters that have produced at least 1 HBCH.
ACTIVE MEMBER
1. Must be a paid NHBA member in good standing.
2. Be a member of a UKC club.
3. Must have been an active member of the UKC beagle program for a minimum of 3 years.
All person must have displayed honor, intigrity, sportsmanship and the willingness to help others
