If I raise a Hound,
If I raise a Hound, Hunt it regularly, and By the Time, its a Year, Old, shows no desire to Hunt or Tree, I give up on it.
I dont expect it to be a Coondog, at a Year old, but By that age, it should atleast run and tree with other hounds.
By 18 Months Old, I expect it to be able to tree its own Coon, at least an easy one.
By Two Years Old, I expect a Hound to be a Fairly Competent Young Coon Dog, able to Work Most Tracks, and Tree Coons Consistently.
From Three Years Old, or Older, It should be a Veteran Coondog, that will only get better.
