Feed 'em! When they get big enough to come out for a look/see, grab'em by the neck and yank'em out!

What kinda answer is that?

Hump, I have seen you bashing Sheepster and others for the same kinda stuff now don't be a hypocrite. If you can't answer the question then don't answer with a goof-bawl comment.

Further, if it is a worm, it has no neck (a little anantomy for ya).

Perhaps a tepeworm has eaten your brain.

I would like to hear an answer if one is available.

I have used VALBAZEN - for years now -you can give it to pups as a wormer and a COCCIDIOSIS preventer --I give 1cc per 10 lbs. three days in a row and again in 21 days ---then about 3 months later i which to SAFE-GUARD SUSPENSION -so the worms don't get amuned to one wormer

Lighten up man! There is a clear difference between a comical response, and one that is demeaning to the whole board.

Taken directly from the encyclopedia... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tapeworm

Neck
The Neck of a tapeworm is a relatively undifferentiated mass of cells that divide to form new proglottid "segments." This is where all growth in an adult tapeworm occurs.

Treatment
Fortunately, tapeworms can be effectively cured with antiparasitic (antihelmintic) medication once it is detected. Current Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines for treatment is a prescription drug called praziquantel. The medication causes the tapeworm to dissolve within the intestines. Praziquantel is generally well tolerated. Sometimes more than one treatment is necessary.

Brandon,
Zimectrin Gold has Praziquantel & Ivomectin in it. I was told 1cc per 65#. I bought 1 tube of it and got 6cc out of it. It was $9.95 a tube from Jeffers.

Also,
Droncit (Praziquantel)
Drontal (Praziquantel & Pyrantel pamoate)
Cestex
Farnam D-Worm for tapes (Praziquantel)
Trade Winds brand for tapes (Praziquantel)

EquiMax™

This is a great wormer which is kind of like Zimectrin Gold, but you get more of the medicine in this. Just like Zimectrin it is a horse wormer and is to be given in a small dose by the weight of your dogs. About every 6 months it is good to switch to Safe Guard and give them a dose of that. It is all to be on the safe side. Just read all up on it and make sure you don't give them too much. What's so great about Equimax or Zimectrin Gold is that is has Ivermectin-heartworms and alot of other worms, and Praziquantel-for tapeworms.
If you already give ivermectin then I don't recommend this. Maybe this was of some help.
