What the best shock collar

Looking on getting a new shock collar. Was just wondering
What would be a good one. Something with some range at least
Mile range.

Garmin tt -25

Never leave home , tt25,without it.In a night hunt stand alone Garmin. I leave in the truck, anything Garmin with a mile range to tone back at end when time is up. Not against the rules, when hunt is over.
Hopefully the tt25 will clean up a dogs sins, before hand.

You can't use any of the newer GPS collars capable of toning or shocking in a night hunt, you will be scratched. You can simply punch the collar code in any hand held. You could only use a collar like a 550 or 70 that doesn't have that capability. I have the 70 because I use them in the kennel and it doesn't have a antenna to chew off, plus a bark collar that works better than anything on the market now. It's range is only 700 yards. I have a DT RAPT 1400 it's range is 900 yards. I did a side by side test down a long flat lane. The DT has to be charged after about 8 hrs. The garmin on shock last a few days, a week on bark. It also has solid white light you can turn on by remote.

SPORTDOG BY FAR AND THEY STAND BEHIND THIER PRODUCTS

Now before everyone else gets all hang me high
I'm speaking for just training collar not GPS
And they sponsor youth coonhound events.

On side note all collars are interchangeable almost distance is based on remote

GarminPro 550 plus

I bought a sportdog 3225-- it might have been ok BUT if your hearing is as bad as mine it was worthless.. you have to be able to hear it beep to turn it on and set it up.-- I gave it away!!!!
the Garmin 550 Plus I can visibly get it set up and it also has a small tracking screen that will show direction and distance. haven't had to check the distance to shock as my sorry hounds get broke from trash before it got out of hand. but said to be a mile
