We never met John but Chey has spent hours talking dogs and pedigrees with him on the phone. We got the news of his passing this morning from our good friend and his Tim Deck. Tim also sent an old picture of himself his brother Dale and John with Iron Eagle. One of his later dogs was a female off of Shack.

John was a true houndsman, and a good man that served his country in Vietnam.

My prayers are with John's family. Good man and was always the man to beat when he was at a hunt. He owned many top hounds over the years.

Good dog man. Pleasure hunted with John, I believe his nephew Bobby, and Fred Moran one stormy night. John also helped me get a dog from zones in Pa. to South Carolina one year. We were headed north after the hunt John told me to put the dog in his truck on my way out. He called me half hour later asked me which white chev we put the dog in cause she wasn't in his truck lol. It all worked out in the end. R.I.P. John

John and I owned several dogs together I first met John in 1992 when I went to his house he had 5 Gr Nt Ch’s there. He was true Coon Hunter and dog man. RIP old Buddy
