2023 Tournament of Champions Judges
Sitting here reminiscing over the past weekend and I'm just so pleased with how smooth the hunt was. As many of you know, whether you are talking about a Friday night hunt at your local club or the World Finals, having quality, qualified judges is the key. You can secure a perfect venue, serve great food, get the best guides in the country, etc, but if you don't have quality judges the event is going to be a failure ultimately.
Out of 34 casts that went to the woods, 1 question was brought back to our Panel of Field Reps that served as Master of Hounds. Those Field Reps were Doug Cundiff of Indiana, Philip Foster of Georgia, Jamie Estep of West Virginia, and Brandon Scalf of Kentucky.
And it's not that questions are a bad thing because ultimately we want to get the calls right, but that is unheard of at a hunt of this magnitude.
So I want to quickly shout out 25 individuals that took time from their personal life, traveled here, took off work, and sacrificed time from family/friends to be in Greencastle this weekend.
