Been out of the sport for awhile and slowly retrieving my equipment to do it again , lol .
1) How’s the mini’s for Coonhunting as far as the collars not sliding to the side of the hounds neck ?
2) The Tuff reflective “antenna” which color seems to be better or brighter reflective at night ?

I Use them on young dogs. They have worked to my satisfaction so far. My youngest are 18 months now and I am still using them. I use a 100 with TT15's regular and mini's. I only have patch woods to hunt. So 600 yards is about my maximum yards. Battery life Is not as long as regular size. A 4 hour hunt is a big a big night for me. If I forget to charge them I can get 2 hunts easy. Now this is how I use them. If I had a adult hound and was buying a collar, I would buy the regular size. Just for peace of mind.

got t5 minis for backup on bear hounds.. right beside full size tt15s on 2 -6 dogs ever trip…in the mtns theys no difference in range I drop my minis I drop the 15s..battery does last lonnger on full size by 2/5 hrs ..

I’ve been using the minis on hounds for a few years now and I can’t tell any difference in range, but there is a measurable reduction in battery life. I generally recharge every night or two so it’s not an issue.
