Tick Prevention

I normally don’t see much tick pressure in the winter here in Tennessee but have pulled a few off my little Black and Tan female lately, I’ve tried a little bit of everything over the years chews, collars, kinda always liked the happy jack dip when I was keeping several dogs but always thought it was a little better on fleas tho, but I need to find somthin before long. What are y’all using?

Ticks

Simparica Trio, takes care of ticks, fleas, heart worm and other worms. Don't think there is anything better. Once a month pill. Buy the largest size and cut in half for most hounds.

How do you stand that cold? I always said, if I had come over on the Mayflower, immediately after the first thaw, I would have been walking south.

We had a negative 25 degree windchill here two nights ago that outta wipe the ticks out for a while, but this has been extremely rare for us I think the average December high is like 50

Do you have to have a prescription for this?
