State Rep. Jeanne McNeill is co-sponsoring a bill to prohibit hauling dogs in a truck bed, the penalty would be animal cruelty, with a guilty verdict it would prohibit future dog ownership, there is a clause that would allow dogs to be carried in an insulated box that is secured. There is no more info on what they deem a insulated box. Most coon hunters,coyote/fox hunters, cat hunters do not own insulated box's many use aluminum box's. Best get on the horn and call your state rep. The memorandum is dated December 6, 2022.
