!!!---Beltlight or Caplight---Whats your preference---!!!

Seems to me we have an interest in Coonhunters wanting to go back to a Beltlight, at least that's what I am seeing.
Could it be some of these Caplights are getting too heavy, too many switches or Knobs, too many options on them to mess with ?
What's your thoughts ?
Tim

Caplights

The ones Voting against Caplights.....is it because of the weight ?
Let me know the reasons why ?

I voted belt light. For me, the cap lights are heavy, and hard to balance on your head.

I never wanted a caplight, till I got one. I am old, fall some. Didn't want it coming off my head. But had my neck rebuilt 4-5 years ago. I hate the cable getting caught on branches. Now, both my every night light and my back up light are cap lights.

Lights

If I'm going to wear a caplight on my head I see no use for a belt light but I never wore a helmet always used the lanyard or just put it over my shoulder I don't like extra weight on my head

Belt light. Only way to fly. Hang the head over my shoulder in warm weather or suoer cold.

The problem is you have to get one of the builders to use the old style swiveling cord that plugs into the battery. The NEW way they just use a solid cord. Guaranteed break in a year or two.

My opinion anyways

Caplight

Going with a Laser Torch caplight. Once you settle on which cap to use, you're on your way!

Tim - i've still got that old superior belt light I believe I bought from you.. Sent it in to superior and had it rebuilt again.. Wouldn't trade it for anything new..

He was kind enough to send me two extra battery connections for the cord.. good people and good lights..

Cap or Belt

I happen to like both.
During the Winter Months I like to have a Light on my side with the Control knob right there on my side & not on the Head.....also No Color Modules on the Head so it feels comfortable in my hand.
