feeder buckets

who use them and do they help or hurt on training young dogs?

I use them, primarily to keep some coon concentrated on some public ground I can hunt that normally doesn't hold coon. I don't typically drop the hound right on the feeder, and move the feeder around.

Use a feeder bucket like you would use a natural feed source. As a spot that holds coon. They are there eat. Just don't over do it and concentrate them on a particular tree. Some will bury a bucket away from a tree and put corn and water in it to sour the corn to discourage deer. However if you have hogs this might not work.
