how to fix this problem

I have a female who has been do great but last nite she locked treed and another dog came by her trailing she left her tree and treed with the other dog and the tree was slick actually this happened twice she also treed 2 coons and 1 den she has not done this before I have some ideas but I thought i would pick other peoples brains

If you can get there before she leaves id run her down and scold her good, take her back to that tree and pet her up. Cheer her on, if she even looks the other dogs way I’d let her know you ain’t happy with it

Hunt by herself, “ always tie “ them up 1st thing before even shinning. To me it teaches them to stay until you get there . Lot of people makes a mistake by wanting to shine before even leasing their dog . Not me , if I walk to a tree you better stay now ! Lot of traits are bred in these hounds . You can help “ somewhat “ but it’s bred in them . Lot of tree power nowadays and way less tracking .

More of an updated response over the last week she's made a lot of bad trees 1st out of the truck slick then you recast her
then she goes in and has the coon she has never acted like this before she has been a accurate lock down dog

Some will disagree but i use the excuse,boar coon in rut for slicks.

I disagree. Either the coons in the tree or he's not. Why he went up there should not be of any concern to a dog.
