I've got one on a soft cap used it about five years now. Most comfortable light I've tried. It's my nightly user even tho I've got two newer lights.Walk light could be a little brighter and I'd bet it is on the newer models. Hasnt giving me the slightest problem.

4-6 hours be normal I guess these days...nope never had it go dead in woods but I'm also not one who tries to see how many nights they can use one on a charge. I've noticed if I'm using it around the house or yard and it hasn't been charged it'll get dimmer but still work and it'll do that for awhile. Even then I've never turned the switch on and didn't have more then I'd need to get out of the woods.

first

I bought one when they first came out.I couldnt get the amber color on it and dont like the green like it came with. If i could have got it with the red and amber colors i would still be using it today. Great light and bright. And very light and comfortable.
