Stone creek durability ?

As I get older I find my self wearing bibs more so than frog legs ...my wick bibs lasted forever , I notice stone creek looks identical to the wicks . Are they holding up like wick ? Think I’m gonna order the combo set ( jacket and bibs) just wondering how the bibs had held up for you guys ?

I haven’t worn there bibs but I did buy a pouch for my belt that is fantastic and the pads they sell for the dog box are the best out there IMO.

If you want bibs that last forever order Mule brand briarproof. You will be an old man before you wear them out.

Is their stuff water resistant at all ? Anything I've bought since wick was about as water resistant as a screen door.

Clothing

None of the nylon clothing is actually waterproof unless it has waterproof lining etc. It's advertised as water resistant for heavy dew and wet grass etc. in the mornings but if you stand in the rain for a few minutes it starts soaking in unless it has waterproof lining

Yes I'm aware of the dif between waterproof and water resistant. The old wick material would soak thru eventually but would repel a lot of water. Nothing I've worn since was in the same ballpark. Repels nothing just soaks like a sponge.

Mark Zepp could probably answer this clearer than I but i sold wick products the first day they were ever offered to dealers..Material back then was a better product but i feel sure that that John added a waterproofing spray on every piece of material that went out of the shop..Probably the greatest products in our era..Anyone that makes these coats today including us could add a waterproofing liner, then a thin liner for comfort with a 400 denier outershell..Of course you wouldnt be able to buy a 55 dollar nylon coat like we offer at all Major events..You have to have a product that the majority will buy at that price then you need a product that can be offered at a bit more price..Hard to find the common ground as a Vendor and Manufacturer.
On another note I wouldnt hesitate to purchase any item Stone creek makes..Good People who make a dang good product!!
