Can someone direct me to where I can read about how performance points are awarded/tabulated? Thanks in advance

I don't know where it is written but with new hunt reports top 3 dogs overall get performance points. First place gets 1 point for every 10 dogs entered. Second place gets .5 and third place gets .25. A good rule of thumb is that first place gets .1 points for every dog entered.
