2021 North Carolina state hunt/show will be held on October 8th and 9th
The 2021 North Carolina state hunt and show will be held on October 8th and 9th at the American Legion 76, Home of the Stanley County Fairgrounds located at 24302 South US 52, Albemarle, NC 28001. There will be a hunt off on Saturday night between the two high scoring dogs from Friday night and the two high scoring dogs from Saturday night to determine the overall state nite hunt champion. Everyone in the final four will receive money. The payout will be as follows, 1st place $1000, 2nd place $500, 3rd place $250, 4th place $125. The overall state bench show champion will receive $200 and the opposite sex champion will receive $100. Nice prizes will be awarded to everyone who places in the hunt and show. Must be a member of NCCHA to compete for overall in the hunt or show. Individual memberships will be available for purchase for $20 each The annual association meeting will be held at noon on Saturday. All clubs are encouraged to nominate two representatives to represent your club at this meeting. Also this is an election year so if you or someone in your club would like to run for office on the state board, please be present at this meeting. We will also have our Golden Boy Raffle as well as the basket raffle. We strive to make this event bigger and better every year so please mark your calendar and plan on attending and helping us make this event a huge success.
