Sorry

If I caused thread to be removed guys I am sorry for that. Just my interpretation of the rule after researching it this morning. I will hush.

Your fine Roy. Everyone has their opinions based on whatever information they have to go on, and that's okay too although most will know and agree that's not how officials make their decisions. Or at least they shouldn't. You have to listen to all the info as provided during the actual official hearing of such and then make a decision based on that. Not on statements made later or otherwise.

Yes, there were several comments made that were unreasonable and justly removed. Otherwise, I think most of the commentary is reasonable considering the the information they are basing it on and in accordance to their understanding rules. It's okay to have conversations and express opinions with the information we are basing it on so long as we do so knowing that we may not know all the details and if we did, our opinions may or may not change.

Anytime there's a debatable call when there's a lot on the line such as a World Championship, we come off having to know every detail and if we're not getting it from those involved conspiracies go rampant. But I think it also goes to show the passion we have for the sport.

From a UKC standpoint, I think we struggle sometimes with what is appropriate to put out and what is not. In other words, is it really necessary for the public to know everyone else's business and to always have to know all the details? So long as I have any say, we'll first and foremost be considerate of those involved and and not put out details that may put anyone involved on the town square for all passerby's to cast stones at them. We're better than that.

At the end of the day, I have to be able to sleep at night with the decisions we make and we take them seriously and without bias. Lord knows I've made mistakes but simply not posting details on higher profile events doesn't mean we have something to hide. Sometimes it's simply best not to for, what we feel, are the right reasons.

I still think that it is all a big conspiracy.

Excellent post, UKC does way more than any registry by allowing folks to express their opinions on the UKC FORUM. These opinions are just that opinions and are not always based on facts, but emotions that cloud one's judgement. Dave
