Strike is minus and only 25 minus on the tree, but was dog B treed in after tree was dead?

Strike all depends on whether dog B is there and treeing when Judge arrives or comes in after judge arrives and 0 tree minus if not declared treed.

4D and 5B minus strike if coon is seen and dog is at tree no matter when it comes in

Need a little more specific info.

1. Was A declared treed before B was declared struck? Yes or no.

2. Was B declared treed? Yes or no.

I agree with more details needed ... because rule 4i could be applied depending on if dog B was declared treed or not after tree was closed

For the situation you’re asking about Dog B would be minused whatever is was struck in for, dog B wouldn’t take any minus on tree.

If Dog B would’ve been shutout, he wouldn’t receive any minus.

If dog B would’ve been declared treed after Dog A’s tree was closed and was found on tree with dog A. Then dog B would be minused 125 on tree and minused whatever it was struck in for because coon seen.

Crank

Was dog B declared tree after the tree was closed OR was Dog B found on the closed tree without having being called treed?

If declared treed after dog A’s tree was closed .. dog B is minused 125 for leaving its split tree, and then minused again on the new tree for its strike points.. based on the scenario that’s another -75. 200 in the hole.

If dog B was found on the tree but never called treed..
-75 strike only as the coon was seen and there are no tree points to do anything with.

If a dog is "at the tree" when you get there, they didn't "come into" the cast or tree so how how can you minus their strike? Doesn't the rule say that a dog has to come into the cast in order to be minused?

4-d
Dog(s) treeing but not declared treed when judge arrives receives minus strike points if coon is seen.

Richard, it don’t matter if they’re already there or come in after, if a coon is seen strike points are minused, Like Lance said above ^^^

5(b) No dog to receive minus points for coming into tree after Judge arrives unless a coon is seen and the dogs treeing are awarded plus points.

Thanks Ryan, there sure are several different rules covering the same thing.
