Please help me get started in the right direction please! I am an English guy but I’m trying to find a walker female pup so I can try something different. The problem I’m having is I don’t know much about the bloodline traits with walker dogs such as extremely hard tree dogs, great track dogs, hard hunting dog..... etc. I’m looking for lines specific traits and if there are specific dogs that are throwing good pups please list name of dogs/owner and phone numbers if available. Once again I don’t know much at all about the breed. Thank you.

In my opinion repete in my opinion you can't go wrong with the poor boy bloodlines, buck creek bloodlines, finely river bloodlines, Medley bloodlines, I like some of the wipeout bloodlines not all but some. Then you have the big name lipper, sackett jr, rat attack, clover, coma, these are my opinion. I hope this help

Just my opinions, based on dogs I've owned and hunted with.

Stylish Harry - Fast, hard tree dogs, good nose, hard hunting - often called "wired".

Stylish Rebel (Harry's brother) - Loud, accurate, good trailing, insane tree dogs (not necessarily lots of barks per minute, just crazy, lol) Stylish Rebel would often tree with his head all the way back nearly laying on his back lol. We owned a stud dog out of Rebel that we called Bawling Rebel, so I've hunted with a lot of Stylish Rebel grand pup's.

House's Lipper - Loud, good track dogs - Lipper shows up many times in most dogs these days. Stylish Harry/Rebel are both double Lipper.

Sackett, Jr. - accurate, hard tree dogs - I've heard they can be track straddlers, but the one I had direct out of Sackett, Jr was a good track dog and nearly 100% accurate - but her mom was a sister to Harry, so Idk, lol.

Nocturnal Nailor - Tree dogs! We owned one direct out of Nailor that was very accurate as well. Nailor dogs were said to be lazy, especially on track, but I haven't experienced that.

Rat Attack - Same as Sackett Jr but known to be much harder tree dogs and less accurate. The only Rat dog I had wandered off as a pup so I can't confirm the accuracy. Rat pup's have earned just shy of 2 million in PKC though.

Stylish Clover - good track dogs, accurate, bawl mouth tree dogs are common, independent, white/open spotted. Stylish Clover is an uncle to Harry/Rebel (he's a littermate to their mother).

Trackman - A grandson to Nailor and Stylish Anna (Harry's Mom, Clover's littermate) and out of a sister to Rat Attack. I'd say Trackman line is most known for the distinct loud screaming locates.

Wipeout - I have only hunted with a small amount, but most seem to be trailing type dogs and/or ambush type dogs and most seem to be automatic strike dogs. Could just be an anomaly as I've only hunted with a handful. This line started with Flatrock Coma.


These are just my opinions, I'm sure if you ask enough people you're bound to get the whole gamut of answers.
