What is the best vest for comfort and one that holds things like garmin, water bottle etc?

Vests......

To me the Best one is the Dan's Competition Pack Vest. Its lightweight and has just enough Pockets. It does not have a pocket for the Water Bottle.....but you can actually stick a water bottle between the Vest & your Chest or Belly and it stays fine. Its only $35 too.
I have tried to find the Perfect Vest and bought several........This Dan's is the Best.... !!!

I have the Dan's mesh vest that I wear in the in between months here.. I took it up to the local harness shop and had them add a buckle strap strap on each side.. Plenty of room and completes the vest in my opinion..

I hang my belt light on the right strap and a catch all pouch on the left. Really makes it an effective piece of gear.. FWIW...

Hot weather here I run an old suspenders style light belt.. Absolute best thing for hot weather. You can hang your belt light over your shoulder when the internal temp gets too hot!!

I actually have one of those valley creek vests, have used it for several years. I've been happy with it, my only complaint is that I would swap the pocket for a shock collar controller for a water bottle pocket. I tore the game bag on a barb wire fence a while back, but only through one layer of the fabric so it has still held up. I would buy it again, but since I only use a Garmin I will try and find one with a place for a bottle instead. I do like the smaller pockets on it, it holds a squaller and a 50 count box of 22 shells real well. game bag will hold one big coon or a couple smalls one, and a full limit of squirrels.

I'm wanting to find one with a pocket specifically for the pathfinder receiver.

John, Does the summer vest have a pouch in the front big enough for a water bottle? Otherwise looks about like what I want. I don’t like the water bottles on the back or side because I think that could snag on a fence when trying to cross. Also I didn’t see the new one you described on the website maybe I overlooked it but that sounds like a good one too.

Mr.Dave we have a new side strap vest that has a water bottle, thermal, phone, garmin and a zippered pouch..weight sets on the side more than front or back and every pocket is accessible..The summer vest also has a water bottle holder on it..We literally build them in about any configuration.Thanks..434-865-4868
