I am interested in seeing what is out there for finished pleasure hounds. I like cold nosed bawl mouth dogs that hunt close to medium range. I hunted a lot when I was younger and have not hunting at all since moving to South Dakota 8 years ago. We don't have a lot of big timber here mostly shelterbelts and short tree lines near sloughs and corn fields so a hound that has to get deep will not work for me. Just need something I can take out with my kids and have them fall in love with the sport just as I did. Not looking for a high powered competition dog.
