I've never liked blue dogs any way shape form or fashion, but that is everything every coon hunter wished he had.
Hats off to what you have accomplished. I wouldn't be ashamed to be leading that hound blue or not.

Awesome job. Proof positive a coondog can have manners and mind, and tree coons as well. Nice treedog to boot.


I have noticed over the last couple of years alot more people are paying attention to how well theres and others hounds handle.

Most people don't realize how smart hounds are. I'll bet
most of our hounds would learn these commands if we took
the time to train them. I had a blue female years ago healing
by my side and sitting when I stopped without a leash in less
than a hour. I've had hounds for 20 years and bird dogs
longer and never had a bird dog learn that as quick and easy
as the hound did.

I admire Elvis as well it takes alot of time and dedication to have dogs like these (trust me I know), and the dogs have to have the brains as well as ability to achive what Brussel , and Elvis have !

Very impressive. The time and dedication you have put into him shows. The dog definitely has something between the ears. We should all strive to have the best handling dogs we can. Nice treedog. Our 7 year old daughter says we need to get a puppy from you!

I belive a good coondog should handle well, not that they all should handle like Brussel, but they should be a pleasure to hunt and part of that is in the handling !
