Redbones
I like a real coon dog period, I do not care what color it is. I have hunted with some top notch redbones that I would certainly been pleased to own. I am a coon hunter and like to hunt with top notch dogs regardless of breed, it's the dog that makes the difference, not the breed. Mr. Lambert was correct in saying it's simply math, you are going to have more good dogs the larger the number of dogs in a certain breed. Mr. Stevens was correct in saying you will look longer and spend more for a top notch dog in a breed with fewer dogs to select from. Truthfully, there are not many top notch dogs regardless of breed and they command a premium price, if they can be bought. Dave
