I don't understand people not keeping papers on dogs. I like to look back and see where it started from. But I just got a bluetick without papers and have treed 6 coons in 3 nights by himself. I really wish I knew what he was out of.

The person you got the dog from probably knows exactly how he's bred. I know some that just simply don't want others to know how they are bred. Seems to me things have changed from when everyone wanted that super stud and wanted everyone to know their name. I know where one of the best stud hound in the country is and the man that owns him better know you personally before you can breed a female to him and he don't charge a penny to breed him.

And it better be a female he likes or you won't be breeding it to his dog no matter how well he knows you. Personally I think there would be better dogs if more people was like that. I really don't know how a penny is made in the puppy making business. Unless you are raising lap dogs.
