Hunt scenario

I was in a cast the other night and ended up losing on a tie breaker.. we didn’t have any minus, tied on plus tree points and tied on strike plus points.. he had more circle tree points.. anyways I was seeing what you guys what have did in this scenario.. I was up 200+.. other dog got 1 and 1 on a coon my dog had 75 went 150 yards from that tree.. he was leading his dog off and mine fell treed.. he recut his.. walked to mine after 3 was up and his dog was treeing 80 yards from mine.. he didn’t call it treed till he saw mine had a coon.. I didn’t cut mine and I think that was my mistake.. I should have cut him loose and got some of his tree.. would you guys hold your dog or turn them loose in that situation.. obviously you have to know your dog

One thing I will guarantee. You can't score any points on the leash. I personally break mine from going to treed dogs for this exact scenario. With no leash lock having your dog ignore treed dogs is a must.
